Change Order of Items
In this article we will show you how to change the displayed order of items in the Mobile App, Web and Kiosk.
You will need to set up for each item you want to re-order a different priority so that Orda will know what order to render the items in the category. For example if you want Apple to show before Banana you will need to set up orda-priority 10 to the Apple and 20 to the Banana.
Visit the Items page of your Square Dashboard. Note that this is in Square Dashboard, NOT Square Online inventory.
Open the edit item page.
Click "Add Custom Attribute."
3. Add new custom variable named "orda-priority" as text.
Set a priority number:
The lower the priority number, the higher it will appear in the category.
For example, priority 10 will appear before priority 20.
It's better to enter priority in multiples of 10 so in the future you can add items in between without changing all the items' priority number. Example:
Category 1
Top item - priority 10
Second item - priority 20
Third item - priority 30
Category 2
Top item - priority 10
Second item - priority 20
Third item - priority 30
4. Click Add.
5. Click Save in the edit item modal to save these changes.
6. It may take a few minutes for these changes to update in your app. You will then need to refresh your app to see the reordered items.
