Pricing Breakdown

When a customer places a delivery order through your Orda-powered app or online ordering system, the following costs and fees are involved:

1. Service Fee

• What is it? The service fee is a charge you set for the delivery service, typically between $3 and $5. This fee is added to the customer’s order total.

• Example: In this breakdown, the service fee is $2.99.

2. Customer’s Items Total

• What is it? This is the total cost of the items the customer orders from your store.

• Example: The customer’s items total $30.

3. Delivery Distance

• What is it? The distance between your location and the customer’s delivery address determines how much DoorDash pays its delivery providers.

• Example: The delivery distance in this example is 3 miles.

4. Order Totals

• Customer Pays This is the total amount charged to the customer, including the item total and the service fee.

  • Example: $30 (items total) + $2.99 (service fee) = $32.99

• You Get Paid This is the amount you receive for the order after deducting the amount paid to DoorDash delivery providers.

  • Example: You get paid $24.99.

  • Note: This amount does not include credit card processing fees charged by Square or any tip left by the customer for the driver.
