Your Orda app just became more powerful.
With the new Social Links plugin, you can now add any external ecommerce site—like Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, or even a custom store—to your branded mobile app. This feature allows you to display a branded tab right in your app’s home screen that, when tapped, opens your external content (like your online store, nationwide shipping, blog, loyalty program, or even an affiliate site) directly inside a browser view.
Whether you're already selling online or want to expand your digital footprint, this is an easy way to bring everything under one roof—your app.
Customers are already downloading and ordering from your app. Now, imagine if they could also:
Order nationwide delivery via your Shopify store
View your seasonal blog updates hosted on Wix
Access your WooCommerce loyalty program
Book appointments through your Squarespace page
Shop exclusive merch from a custom site
Apply for wholesale partnerships
The new Social Links plugin allows you to integrate all of this—and more—without needing developers or deep integrations.
Let’s look at a real-world example.
Taylor Chip, a premium dessert brand, used Orda to launch their mobile ordering experience. Their stores were thriving locally—but their team wanted to grow beyond their local footprint.
They already had a nationwide shipping solution built on Shopify. With the new Orda Social Links plugin, they simply added their Shopify link to the app, complete with a custom name and branded icon ("Nationwide Shipping").
The result? Their Shopify sales increased by 30% within 60 days, just by making it easier for app users to find and use their nationwide store.
Customers already loved the cookies—they just needed a shortcut.
The plugin is simple but powerful. Here’s how to add your ecommerce link into your app in a few easy steps.
Login to your Orda Admin panel.
Marketplace → Social Links
This is where you can manage and create the external links that will appear in your app.
This will open a simple form where you can configure your Social Link.
Icon – Choose from popular options or upload your own (e.g., Shopify logo, shipping icon, etc.)
Name – This will appear as the label for the tab (e.g., “Shop Online,” “Order Nationwide,” “Merch”)
URL – Paste the full URL of your store or page (e.g., https://yourshop.myshopify.com)
Your tab will now appear on the app’s home screen, alongside your existing ordering tabs.
When a customer taps it, it opens your external content within the app, without needing to switch to a separate browser.
Shopify: Add your full ecommerce store for shipping, merch, or preorders.
WooCommerce: Connect your WordPress store for loyalty rewards, gift cards, or VIP programs.
Wix: Link to a recipe blog, community page, or seasonal promotions.
Squarespace: Add a booking calendar or media gallery.
Google Form or Typeform: Use for surveys, waitlists, or wholesale applications.
Keep It Focused: Don’t add too many links—choose one or two that really enhance your customer’s experience.
Test the Mobile View: Make sure the page you're linking to is mobile-optimized.
Use Descriptive Names: Instead of "Shopify," say "Nationwide Shipping" or "Order Cookies to Your Door."
Track Results: Use your ecommerce platform analytics to measure traffic and sales from app users.
